Library User Survey 1 to 12  September 2008

What you need to know about this Survey


1. What is the Survey for?

We want to find out what you think about our current Library services. Your response will help us improve our service to you.

2. Do I get anything for completing the Survey?

You have a chance to win either a Nintendo Wii Console or a 16 GB iPod Touch in a draw performed by our partner organisation Insync Surveys. We are also buying coffee for the first 700 participants who complete the survey. For more information, read our Terms & Conditions [.pdf 364kb].

3. When is the Survey?

The Survey runs from 1st September to 12th September, 2008.

4. How long will it take to complete the Survey?

Around 15 minutes.

5. Is the Survey on the Internet only?

Printed Survey forms are available at all services points in the Library. Once completed they are to be returned to the Information Desk on Level 2 (Entrance Level) to claim your FREE U@MQ coffee voucher and to enter the draw.

Alternatively, you can complete the Survey online.

6. Can they identify that I answered a question in a certain way or made a specific comment?

No. All responses are ANONYMOUS. The Survey answer database is completely separate to the prize draw database.

7. What should I do if I think a question does not apply to me?

Simply choose the N/A box if you think a question does not apply to you.

8. Will I get to know the results?

Yes. Once the results are compiled, a report will be made available on the Survey webpage. A list of service improvements implemented since the last survey can be found on the About Us webpage.

9. How often is this Survey conducted?

The Library User Survey is conducted every two years. The next Survey will be in 2010 when we move into the new Library.

10. What should I do if I have more feedback before the next Survey?

We welcome your feedback and suggestions. Just use the Library's Feedback form.

Feedback forms are also available at the exit of the Library on Level 2. All responses with contact information provided will be responded to.
