About EndNote
EndNote is a program used to manage and organise personal libraries of bibliographic references. It has three advantages:
- The ability to create, manage and search personal reference libraries
- The use of linking to create in-text citations and bibliographies in word processed documents, using defined bibliographic styles
- The ability to import bibliographic references from databases and library catalogues
EndNote Software
NEW: EndNote - 2010 Publication Year Import problem
Thomson Reuters have discovered an import issue that affects EndNote 8 through to X2. When importing references into the versions of EndNote and EndNote Web mentioned above, a year greater than 2009 is dropped. All other data for the reference imports correctly. The issue will be corrected as follows:
- EndNote X2— patch now available
- EndNote X1— patch to be released in early March 2010 or you can manually apply a temporary fix.
